I spent the day in the woods
With the sun above
Under cover of the trees
the leaves not yet on the ground
There they Sheltered me
from the midday sun
And there I undstood
what needed to be done
There the seed was sewn
There the Web was spun
Like the spider in the tree
Like the red fox is the den like the badger and the owl
I would make a home.
Away from all the ties
Waking with the birds
Rising with the sun
Building up my dream
Until the day was done
Under that tree
The woods taught me
how to listen and to see
And what needed to be done.
