PRECIPICE

The Israeli army has entered Beit Jala, and the IDF has initiated the most substantial airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since the commencement of the war in preparation for a ground operation.

Reports from Palestinian sources describe terrible explosions in various parts of the enclave, resulting in destroyed homes and people trapped beneath rubble.

The IDF is continuing to move military equipment toward Gaza while mobilizing its forces in readiness for a ground operation.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has urged Israel to permit the entry of humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip and for Hamas to release all hostages.

The Israeli army claims to have struck 250 targets in Gaza within a day and eliminated a commander from Hamas' southern Homeland Security district.

As per the Israeli TV channel i24 News, more than 600,000 Palestinians have evacuated from the northern Gaza Strip towards the south.

Retire

A 65-year-old couple retiring in 2025 with average earnings will receive an estimated $1.34 million in lifetime benefits, while contributing only $720,000 in today’s dollars.

That shortfall—more than $600,000 per couple—is being made up by younger workers.
