One of the SEALs was hit by a wave, and the second jumped to save a comrade and also drowned. Both are now listed as missing.
US Navy ships and aircraft are combing areas of the Gulf of Aden.
❗️ According to the US Department of Defense, the ship, which was captured by US special forces, contained components of Iranian medium-range ballistic missiles.
📝 “The crew members taken into custody did not have documents that allowed a search of the ship. The weapons were confiscated and the boat was scuttled, a routine procedure that usually involves cutting holes in the hull,” a US Defense official said.
