INDIA : 13.9 GW of new Coal-fired power stations to open in 2024
To lift their people out of poverty, this year India will start operating 13.9 GW of new coal-fired power.
Further, over the next 18 months alone India plans to start operating a total of 19.6 GW of new coal-fired electricity power stations - in comparison Australia’s national energy grid has a total of 21GW coal-fired capacity.
So while India, in the next 18 months, will open the equivalent of Australia’s total coal fired capacity to lift their people out of poverty - in contrast the clueless Blackout Bowen (with the support of the weak cowardly Liberals & Nationals) is planning to drive Australian families into poverty by closing down Australia’s remaining coal-fired power stations.
The United Australia Party believes this is complete madness, Australia needs to build new coal-fired power stations
