Thomas Matthew Crooks is a 20-year-old from Bethel Park, PA. At the scene of the incident, he was found with an AR-15.
Crooks has a history of political activism and has made several contributions to left-wing causes. Notably, he donated to the Biden Campaign on Inauguration Day through ActBlue, a prominent left-wing political action committee. His criminal record includes multiple arrests for assault & public disobedience, primarily in connection with Antifa-related activities. These incidents took place in various cities: Seattle (2023), Portland (2022) & Minneapolis (2021).
He has been included in several intelligence reports, & his father is a mental health professional & the legal owner of the rifle that was used.
