🇫🇷🥇🎠📹 — Before the raising of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, something got the attention of netizens: A White Horse and its rider walking over the water.
➡️ As the ceremony went ahead, a Horsewoman seated over a Pale Horse crossed from Pont d'Iéna to the Place du Trocadéro in Central Paris, after crossing the Seine River
➡️ According to the Olympic Games organizers, this "is a representation of Olympic spirit and a call for peace and solidarity takes shape in the form of a horsewoman galloping across the Seine River"
➡️ Behind the Pale Horse, Flags and flag bearers of all nations participating in the Olympic Games were seen, except Russian Federation and Belarus — whom were banned from the games due to the Russian Intervention in Ukraine.
🏆 At the end of the procession, the horsewoman handed the Olympic Games flag for the Committee
📖 Some more religious netizens theorized it was an allusion to the Eschatological Biblical verse of Revelations 6, which narrates the arrival of the First of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Anti-Christ that would arrive in times of social decay and debauchery, where it says:
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
➡️ Theories aside, this part of the ceremony ended with the rider delivering the flag as intended where under the sound of the performance of 60 choristers from the Radio France Choir, and 90 musicians from the French National Orchestra and over the Trocadéro stage shaped like the Eiffel Tower, the Olympic Anthem was played
