Here’s how those in power set the conditions for an attack:
The Afghan arrested in Oklahoma, he was among the group of (70,000+) that was airlifted out of Afghanistan in August 2021, there are thousands in that 2021 group that did not assist the US Gov, nor assist US troops, or have fraudulent applications, therefore should not be here. The neighborhoods close to Kabul Airport (HKIA) including Deh Sabz and Hootkhail where many criminal elements in Kabul lived were mostly emptied out in Aug 2021, many of the residents of those two areas crossed the checkpoints and made it to the Airports and were airlifted out of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile thousands of Afghans that did assist the USG were prevented by Taliban checkpoints from entering the Airport.
The then Centcom Commander stated that they were getting “cooperation” from the Taliban. Cooperation for what?
Now we are seeing the results…
BTW for many that have left Afghanistan since 2021, who are from very rural and conservative parts of Afghanistan they would have problems adjusting to life in Kabul because they will see Kabul culturally/socially as too liberal, then imagine them coming to a western country, then we wonder why they fall under the influence of extremist groups….
Common sense has become a super power these days….
These are two exact quotes from Gen Frank McKenzie in 2021:
He said “The Taliban were pragmatic and very businesslike as we approached this withdrawal.”
He also praised the Taliban by stating “I do know this, just speaking purely practically, as a professional, they (the Taliban) helped us secure the airfield. Not perfectly, but they gave it a very good effort, and it was actually significantly helpful to us, particularly here in the end,”
The quotes are from Aug 31, 2021 posted on NBC news.

... and the supply of refined fuels is already nearly exhausted. A hard landing is visible ahead, for farmers, for trucking, and ... well, for everything that requires food (people) and energy (the entire economy).
These are very likely the final days of relative normalcy during which to prepare. Get ready.
🌾 🌍 🚜 JPMorgan warns a massive global food supply crisis could begin next year as fertilizer shortages tighten agricultural supply.
JPMorgan is the latest institutional research desk to warn that the next global food crisis may already be taking shape, driven by what its analysts describe as the "Five Ws": War, Weather, Warehousing, Water, and Waste.
In a new report titled Food Security Is National Security: A Compounding Storm, a team led by London-based senior global economist Nora Szentivanyi warned that disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz and the emergence of a potentially historic El Niño could weaken crop yields, constrain agricultural production, and keep food inflation elevated through the first half of 2027.
"Successive shocks since COVID have compounded, eroding food production capacity and keeping food price pressures elevated into 2027," Szentivanyi said, warning that "this is not a short-lived shock; it has reduced the likelihood of near-term disinflation, and the food ...
