⚠️BREAKING: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that an investigation into ActBlue has uncovered evidence suggesting that bad actors may be illegally interfering in U.S. elections by disguising political donations.
Paxton emphasized the need for the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to close the loopholes that allow foreign contributions or excessive donations to unlawfully reach political campaigns, bypassing campaign finance regulations and compromising the integrity of the electoral system.
He called on the FEC to immediately begin the process of creating new rules to secure U.S. elections from potential exploitation by criminal actors.
