Russia successfully tested the new medium-range missile Oreshnik ballistic missile with a non-nuclear hypersonic warhead, during combat conditions, in response to yesterday's Storm Shadow missile strike on the Kursk region.
Putin concluded; the existing missile defense systems, including US-made elements in Europe, will not be able to intercept missiles like the new Oreshnik ballistic missile, who is able to attack targets at a speed of 2-3 km per second.
Putin said that after the latest blows from Kyiv, the conflict has acquired elements of a global nature, which corresponds to the statement from Russian ambassador to London, who said the UK is actively involved in the war against Russia.
