A massive U.S. military airlift operation is underway.
Over the past three days, more than 16 U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft have landed at Osan Air Base in South Korea before continuing to Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the cargo includes advanced air defense systems — potentially Patriot missile batteries — being repositioned as the region braces for further escalation.
