Local sources say at least 64 were killed in the massacre in which the attackers used firearms and hammers and selectively lit certain homes on fire, which suggests a premeditated and targeted terror attack on Christians. Many of the victims were murdered while taking part in a vigil for the dead.
Watching an interview on the church situation in Michigan (Ward Radio on YouTube) sounds like from a local man who know family and friends that was in the congregation there is estimated that there was 20-30 people stuck under the rubble in the fire, members of the church ran to help the man when he rammed the building and was being fired on, being a member of this faith during that time of the meeting first people he first would have been in contact with would have been young parents and toddles and babies as they don’t have nursery during the main meeting and sacrament was just passed so fussy kids are in the foyers at that time, heartbreaking, just watching what updates I can as it hits close to home, side note our president or prophet of our faith passed away last night, he was 101, so members were already grieving that loss. Just giving you what I am hearing as a member of that faith.
