On this day, we pause to remember the horrific events of October 7, 2023—a day that scarred the soul of Israel and shocked the world. Nearly 1,200 innocent lives were brutally taken. Hundreds of men, women, and children were kidnapped and held hostage; many of whom are now dead. Countless women were subjected to unimaginable cruelty and humiliation before losing their lives. Families were shattered, homes burned to the ground, and entire communities left in grief and devastation.
Yet even in the shadow of such evil, we have witnessed extraordinary courage. We remember the victims, pray for the hostages, and stand steadfast with Israel in her fight for life and freedom.
Am Yisrael Chai — the people of Israel live.

PN I know I disappeared for awhile. I’ve been writing a little but not much. I had a death in my family and it hit hard. I’m trying to get moving but having a hard time.
I want you to know my husband works for one of the largest trucking companies in the country driving heavy haul. He delivers feed to all the chickens out here in the pacific nw. Up and down Wa and Or. He will not be participating in the protest 10/1 due to the fact that he is company and this job was hard to find. He feels diesel is going up in a very bad way. That’s the word with the truckers. If things continue the way they are it may be $8-10 a gallon in ten days. They are trying to break us. His company subsides the diesel through the government so they don’t feel the effect except when seeing the pumps. He feels that they will be affected heavily by the end of the month, the company rigs that is.
