➡️Chinese intelligence, through the “Salt Typhoon” cyber campaign, gained access to the emails of staff members from key US congressional committees, as well as to calls and messages of government officials. The intrusions were discovered in December.
➡️The United States acknowledged vulnerabilities in its networks but postponed sanctions against China’s Ministry of State Security due to diplomatic considerations. China has denied the accusations.

The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal opened proceedings on September 22 in the case, which was filed by the state service against the religious organization known as the Synodal Department Mission of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for Family Affairs. The agency wants the department liquidated and all its property, funds, and other assets—except for liturgical items—transferred to state ownership.
