📝🇺🇸❌🇮🇷 - On the Brink: Showdown in the Middle East
Amid an escalating American buildup, it’s clear Witkoff’s list of demands is more of a request for surrender. Accepting the abolition of its nuclear program and limitations on its ballistic missile force would leave Iran powerless to defend itself in any future conflict, which is the entire point of asking for these “concessions”. This demarche is a poison pill meant to justify further action when Iran rightly refuses it or, should they be foolish enough to actually accept it, will make the job of Israel and the U.S. easier when they inevitably tear up any agreement to conduct strikes anyway. The goal here for Tel Aviv and Washington isn’t peace and anybody who thinks they actually care about protesters needs to get their head checked; they want a final showdown with Iran to remove it as an obstacle to themselves in the Middle East.
For those that don’t remember, in the lead up to the 12 Day War last year there was much reporting of an alleged break between Trump and Netanyahu with Trump claiming diplomacy right until the start of the strikes. At that point, he gleefully admitted it had all been a ruse to lull Iran into a false sense of security. Many Iranian seniors officials died as a result in the initial strikes, having believed they were negotiating in good faith and having gathered to discuss the situation. Everything that is happening now must be understood in this light and, if you need any further confirmation, the U.S. has announced further force transfers today. There is no diplomatic solution to be had, and this next round will be fought with absolute brutality as a result.
What is coming will be incredibly violent and deadly for many as a result, unfortunately.

📝🇮🇱🗳 CIA Report Warns Israel Could Head Toward Civil War, Total Collapse
Israel is at risk of civil war or state collapse, a classified CIA assessment warns, as years of genocide in Gaza and war in Lebanon and Iran deepen political, economic, and social fractures within the country.
The August report, titled “Fracture From Within,” was compiled by experts in the CIA’s Red Cell, according to two U.S. sources who described the contents of the report to Drop Site News. The Red Cell, which is the unit responsible for providing “alternative analysis” within the agency, produced the assessment through a combination of open source information and U.S. intelligence. The assessment appears to refer only to Israel’s Jewish citizens and does not consider its Palestinian citizens, who make up approximately 20% of Israel’s population and who live under various forms of discrimination that Amnesty International and other human rights groups have labelled as part of a broader system of...
American wages are not keeping up with inflation.
US average hourly earnings adjusted for inflation fell -0.3% YoY in September, marking the 5th consecutive decline in real wages.
This follows a -0.2% YoY decrease in August, -0.3% in July, and -0.8% in June, the largest decline since May 2023.
This marks a sharp deterioration from +1.3% YoY growth in real wages recorded in February.
This all comes as US CPI inflation has remained above +3.0% for 6 consecutive months, the longest such streak since mid-2024.
Meanwhile, in nominal terms, average hourly earnings rose +3.0% YoY in September, their slowest growth since May 2021.
Nominal wage growth has been in a downtrend since March 2025, when earnings grew +4.2% YoY.
Inflation is eroding the spending power of Americans.

Darya Shipilova, a 28-year-old employee at the anti-plague institute in the city of Irkutsk, became ill at work. She died two days later on the night of 2 October at a regional hospital in the nearby town of Shelekhov.
It remains unclear how she became unwell. Unconfirmed reports in Russian media have suggested Shipilova may have been infected after a mishap at the laboratory. Officials have not publicly confirmed that account.
Local media have reported that the institute has subsequently been locked down, with staff forced to sleep on the floor and on chairs. “They’ve been isolating everybody since Friday – more than 60 people,” one relative, Roman, told the news portal Siberia.Realities.
